Tuesday I finally moved to my new office and I couldn’t be happier. It’s quiet, no negative people surrounding me and a room all to myself. Before this job I always had an office for myself but when I started working here 7 years ago I had to share one. But now finally alone again. I’ll make some pictures of my new office tomorrow to show you.
Today I took a vacation day. I had to do some housekeeping which I postponed way too long. So I cleaned my bathroom more than normally, I worked with a lot of bleach and now my eyes and throat are still irritated. Then I cleaned my computer room completely and dusted and vacuum cleaned our bedroom and R.’s computer room. By then it was noon and I’ve had enough.
After lunch and a bit of internetting I went to the gym for a Matt Roberts workout and when I got home I sat down on the couch with a cappuccino and an episode of Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty that I had recorded.
Yesterday I had planned a 8K run but my legs were so tired. In fact I didn’t feel like running at all but the weather was so beautiful: not cold, sunny, clear blue sky, that’s what made me do a run after all. But instead of 8 I did 5K and every step was a struggle. I did make it the whole 5K however and felt better afterwards even the legs were still tired.

Today week 2, training 2 of the Matt Roberts workout. I have to say I cheated a bit and didn’t do the complete workout, I skipped a few exercises, but still had a 53 minute workout.
What’s for dinner:
Pasta with a sauce of spinach, onions, garlic, bacon and cheese.
A free day and lots of sunshine.
